Amis St. Barth is the beach restaurant at Le Barthélemy Hotel & Spa, set right on the sand of Grand Cul-de-Sac bay on the island’s quieter east side. It’s a lunch spot: relaxed, feet-in-the-sand, with a daily menu of island-inspired French cooking built around fresh local ingredients.

What to Expect
Amis opened in October 2021 as Le Barthélemy’s open-air dining concept, designed so there’s no real line between the dining room and the bay. Seating mixes tables with sofas and armchairs in the hotel’s signature blue and white, and the calm, shallow water of Grand Cul-de-Sac is a few steps away.
The kitchen serves a menu that changes daily: light salads, seafood dishes and daily specials, all with a French approach to preparation. It works well as a long lunch after a morning of paddleboarding or kitesurfing on the lagoon, or as a destination in its own right if you’re staying elsewhere on the island.
Sunday Brunch
On Sundays, Amis turns lunch into a brunch built for groups: live cooking stations, a homemade bakery corner, smoothie and salad bars, hot dishes, an à la carte course, and a spread of pastries to finish. It’s one of the more social ways to spend a Sunday on the east side of the island. Book ahead in high season.
Takeaway and Villa Delivery
If you’d rather eat at your villa, Amis offers a to-go and delivery service for both lunch and dinner. It’s a useful option for groups staying in the villas around Grand Cul-de-Sac, Petit Cul-de-Sac and Pointe Milou.
Staying for Dinner?
Amis doesn’t serve dinner. In the evening, Le Barthélemy’s restaurant is Abyss, open daily from 7 PM to 10 PM, so you can make a full day of it at the hotel.
Tips
- Reserve in high season (December to April), especially for Sunday brunch.
- Bring swimwear. Grand Cul-de-Sac’s lagoon is calm and shallow, ideal before or after lunch.
- Check the day’s menu on the hotel’s website before you go, since it changes daily.
